Founder of the Community Resource Fund
Dr. Charles O. Dillard, renowned for his community service, is the founder of the Community Resource Fund. Dr. Dillard practiced medicine for over 50 years servicing in underserved communities. Even now, after his retirement, Dr. Dillard continually helps the underserved and disadvantaged communities. He persists in helping these communities through the activities of the Community Resource Fund (CRF).

In addition to food, when funds are available, the Community Resource Fund also distributes personal hygiene and essential daily need items as well as outerwear.
The Mission of the Community Resource Fund, ties into Dr. Dillard’s work with the military organization, “Mission Readiness” whose aim is to provide food and lobby politicians to put more money in early childhood education and nutrition.”

Dr. Dillard always advocated for the underserved, believing that healthcare is a right and not a privilege and that we are all responsible for each other, assuring all our basic needs are met.
